The Louis Bank of Commerce is one of San Diego’s most ornate commercial structures. The four-story Baroque Revival building was constructed in 1888 in the lively Gaslamp Quarter neighborhood. Punctuated by two rising towers, this landmark property possesses so many Victorian architectural features that it has been dubbed "The Queen of the Gaslamp."

As the first granite building in San Diego, this building has housed everything from fortuneteller Madame Cora's Golden Poppy Hotel brothel and Ratner's Electric to the creative offices and restaurants that are found there today.
