A Multi Use Soccer Stadium and Concert Venue in Oceanside
Frontwave Arena, a state-of-the-art soccer stadium, is set to open its doors in 2024 in Oceanside. With an $85 million budget, the project is currently 50% complete and will potentially expand to include hockey and serve as North County's first major concert venue. Designed as a versatile multi use facility, it aims to attract users from 22 nearby outdoor soccer fields and host various events, including graduations and sports competitions.
Located on 465 acres at El Corazon in Oceanside, the second half of the project is being undertaken by Level 10 Construction. The stadium, boasting 170,000 square feet with a seating capacity of 7,500, holds the naming rights purchased by Frontwave Credit Union in 2022. Additionally, the facility will feature a 15,000 square feet outdoor plaza, accommodating up to 1,500 people. Notably, the construction process involves a unique steel erection method, requiring four cranes to be in operation. The Frontwave Arena promises to be a thrilling addition to the region's sports and entertainment landscape.
