Lawrence Howard is a real estate developer with over 18 years of experience in real estate development and construction. Responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, and development of over 1,700 multifamily units, most of which required discretionary entitlement permits.
He has been directly involved or overseen over $1.3 billion in the planning, development, and construction of various large-scale projects in Southern California ranging from mixed-use urban multifamily, high-rise, complex re-positionings, adaptive reuse, laboratory, hospital, and office buildings.
Since its inception, CAST has partnered in the acquisition, financing, and redevelopment of nearly $20 million and nearly 500 developable units in San Diego. Prior to starting CAST, Lawrence was the Director of Development for HV Companies. There he was responsible for all aspects of development including planning, design, construction, and leasing of over $400M in urban, commercial, and mixed-use development.
Prior to joining HV, Lawrence was the Development Manager for the San Diego Region for Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) where he was responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, and development of over 1000 multifamily units.
After receiving his BS in Construction Management from Colorado State University, he graduated with a Master of International Real Estate Development and Finance from the University of Glasgow, UK.
